Level: 7th grade and up - Number Sense / Algebra and Functions

Activity 1 - Car Race: Slopes and Intercepts

Choose the speed and starting point of red and blue car and then race them.

Activity connects speed and starting position with slope and y-intercept.

Many activities are possible and are coming.

Current files for offline use (GeoGebra 3.1 is still in pre-release so check back again in October 2008).

How to use zipped files

  • One-time
    • Make a new folder.
    • Download: Images_etc.zip (zip of images and geogebra-javascript files)
    • Unzip this file into your new folder.
  • Each lesson
    • Download the zipped file of the lesson you want.
    • Unzip it into this same folder (automatically creates subfolders)
